Whilst one can never be over-prepared, in practice most guests have over packed. To minimize your burden of cargo, compiled below is a list of some equipment provided. Of course, bring what you wish, but certainly if you are only coming for a weekend you will not need much more than water; food & bedding

- SHOWER – NB this is not operational during the winter when the lake is frozen or if a frost is expected

- PORTABLE BUTANE GAS STOVE – bring butane refill (small cylinders, not the fat Coleman ones)
- COOKWARE (POTS, PANS & UTENSILS)
- FLATWARE (PLATES, BOWLS etc/..)
- CUTLERY

- SOFA BED & BED ROLLS
- BLANKETS / RUGS
- CANOE
- BOOKS, BOARD-GAMES, PLAYING CARDS etc/.
- CANDLES
- SOLAR USB – PHONE CHARGER – Bring your lead/cables
- FIRST AID KIT
- FIRE EXTINGUISHER
- HAMMOCK
- 2 x OUTDOOR CHAIRS
- 2 x INDOOR CHAIRS
That leaves the following as your SHOPPING/PACKING LIST:

- FOOD & DRINK
- HIKING BOOTS & WELLINGTON BOOTS are advisable if wanting to explore the entire island
- BEDDING
- TOILETRIES If wanting to bring your own toilet paper it must be quick composting (suitable for RVs)

- BUTANE GAS BOTTLES
- TORCH / FLASHLIGHTS
- TEA LIGHT CANDLES – please only use the candle holders provided
- CAMERA
- FISHING EQUIPMENT
- SWIMMING SHOES – not necessary but useful on the rocks – bring if you have them.
- LARGE BLACK GARBAGE BAGS – Please note that all garbage needs to be taken away so we suggest you try to avoid glass & plastic. Paper & Cardboard can be burned in the fire-pit. Cans/tins are good as they can be squashed to save space and weight. You can dispose of the garbage at the Marina – charges $5/sack
